Spiritual Renewal Retreat

An Opportunity To Escape…

Could you use some self care? How would you like to spend four days on a beautiful and secluded retreat, with nothing to do but meditation and exploration? How wonderful would it be to spend a weekend in nature, unplugged from tv and electronics, focusing on loving your truest self?

My First Annual Spiritual Renewal Retreat, a successor to previous events held in Humboldt County, California, is an event to realign and rebalance, as you release and let go of that which does not serve you. Great for beginning or advanced meditators alike, this weekend will help you to connect with your inner sense of self love and confidence, and make a lasting change.

If you follow our guidance, you will be a different person after the retreat, letting go of all of the junk and surrendering to what you need to create lasting peace. Our retreats are different than seminars, three-day events with a bunch of motivational speakers, or even a week with Tony Robbins.

During your time at the retreat, we will do the deepest parts of spiritual self-growth work through eight sessions in a light-hearted and supportive environment with a caring group of like-minded people. We will learn several different meditations and contemplation techniques.

These tactics can help your mind to slow down, and teach you that in many cases you are responsible for your daily stress and anxiety. You will leave the retreat with the skills to deal with and eliminate these negative thoughts, becoming a master of your mind instead of its servant.

Partaking in our meditation, prayer, music, and sound healing groups can help you find the peace, happiness and self care you are looking for and deserve. The best part is that by attending the retreat, and putting in the energy to seek what is within, you can find a store of confidence and power you did not know you had.

Take this opportunity to escape your normal routine, maybe even a rut, for the four-day Spiritual Renewal Retreat in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, at the Garden Grove Retreat Center.

You will leave the retreat:

  • With the skills to Meditate on your own

  • Having learned how to Forgive and Let Go on a whole new level

  • With a newfound Sense of Peace you never knew was within you

  • Feeling Renewed

  • Having the ability and knowledge you need to make Lasting Changes

About Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Garden Grove Retreat Center

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is a picturesque destination, full of lush national forests. Our retreat will be in Garden, a small village about 200 miles Northwest of Grand Rapids. With less than 1,000 residents in the area, tourism is primarily focused on the state park and retreat center.

Fayette Historic State Park is a Ghost Town from 1870, which is a short drive from the accommodations. Additionally, Michigan’s largest natural freshwater spring, Kitch-iti-kipi (AKA The Big Spring) is about 25 minutes away from the retreat center.

There will be plenty of free time throughout the weekend here to visit both of these attractions. Garden Grove Retreat Center and Lodging was a Catholic retreat center for many years. It was donated to the city and is now open to all.

The retreat center is fairly basic, with minimal accommodations, however it has everything we will need and is very affordable.

About David Sandercott

David Sandercott Has been helping people for over ten years as a coach in business, meditation, mindset, healing, weight loss, and more!

David is the expert in helping people find the peace and happiness they seek while also improving their overall health and well-being.

Here’s What People Are Saying About David’s Events:

I have four words for David Sandercott’s meditation retreat! A true healing experience.

At this time in my life, I can say when it comes to spiritual events there isn’t much I haven’t seen or heard. I’ve also learned or should say my path has taught me silence and sitting in the presence of God is  a mighty experience.

I’d been having amazing meditation encounters alone at home and with the Meditation Mastermind group. But, by the time I’d arrived at the retreat center, after a full day of travel the day before and that morning, I was exhausted. I was feeling the change of elevation from 6400 ft to sea level and back up to 1800 ft. I was also exhausted with life in general. As my mother used to say, “Life is Life, and it never stops coming at cha.” I really needed this retreat.

We had a full schedule; and at times it was a bit strenuous reminding me of a spiritual bootcamp I had once attended. And, by my second day I was ready to head back to my comfy home, put my feet up, and enjoy a good book. My ego was saying, “You’ve done this before. Why are you doing this again?”

I had come to the retreat seeking answers. By the end of the second day, I was ready to forego the answers for comfort. The meditation sittings in themselves were extremely powerful. I felt love and peace, that peace that passes understanding. But the ego didn’t want anything to do with any of it.

By the end, the overall love from the community; the beautiful meditative sittings and the powerful healing exercises conducted by Sandercott; the delicious vegan food; facial-light healing; and my being available forgetting about my comfort, gave me the answers I was seeking.

If you are looking for a true healing experience; need answers; and are not afraid to experience the presence of God in the purest form, I recommend attending the next four-day healing retreat held by Daivid Sandercott.

P.S.: While the retreat center itself is challenging to get to and in the wilderness, it is WELL worth it. It’s the swankiest retreat center I’ve ever been to 🙂

I recently attended David’s meditation; For the Sake of Love. My time was well spent with our intentions, breathing exercises, silent sits, and instruction on yogi way of life in the world, as it is, today. As a beginner to day long meditation gatherings, I was so well instructed and coached that I sat for 40 minutes without my self interrupting the process. I applaud David’s guidance. I will happily attend his other events, and look forward to each.

-E.J. Stokes

As a beginner, David was helpful, soft spoken and patient with me. He brought me to time and places in meditation I had not been experiencing on my own.

-Evan King

David was a pleasure to meet at his New Years Meditation and Yoga event, the Set and Setting, guided instructions and atmosphere were more than I could ask for, I was grateful for the opportunity to be a part of his class. Definitely plan on attending more of the courses that he has to offer.

-Wendy Howe

I highly recommend David’s classes for clarity, resolve and perspective, as well as other valued concepts. I am grateful to have him in the area to convey what he has learned.

-David Raney

David is genuine, generous, and good hearted! He has offered me a safe pathway to embark on my spiritual journey with support and love. I appreciate what he does and what he has done for me. I would recommend him to anyone who needs healing and support!
